Currently, we are looking for a PHP Project Manager who is dedicated to their craft, can inspire and manage a team to do the same, and can be a leader for years to come. At the moment, we have two projects running concurrently. The first, which is where you will start, is in developing an internal CRM/ERP Project Management System. The second, is in developing a Learning Management System.

You will run your own team and not be faced with impossible deadlines. Our business model allows each team to manage themselves and be accountable for their own actions. We can always hire engineers, but for this role we need a true leader who can inspire others through their own work ethic and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Specification, planning, and updates of software development projects
• Reviewing new and current developers on your team (You are accountable for your team)
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle and follow best practices
• Deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools as necessary

Requirements

• 2+ years of Project Management experience with documented job stability (Preferred)
• Experience facilitating communication among developers and business managers
• Software development experience with PHP. Linux, OOP, and framework experience a plus
• Understanding of ERP and CRM software and architecture
• Demonstrable knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX, etc.
• Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL), MVC design patterns, Agile development principles, and version control tools
• Passion for best design and coding practices; DRY coding, good UI/UX design principles a plus
• Budgeting, cost control, and risk management experience a plus
