The hours of work and shift patterns are: Monday – Friday 14.30 - 22.30
Pay Rate : £14.25
Main Responsibilities
- To understand and apply product safety, quality and legality requirements of the business within the site.
- To implement, monitor and help develop the site quality management systems with the QA Team.
- To operate and communicate effectively between Technical and Production and between shifts to ensure the technical needs of the business are fulfilled.
- To ensure food safety is not breached at any time
- Coordinating QA team
- Pick up QA manager duties on QA manager's absence
- Raising non-conformances accordingly
- Raising non-conformances to the supplier
- Generating samples according to customers request
- Complete quality panels
- Ensure product quality is being produced according to customer specifications
- Follow the hold procedure when required
- Report directly to the QA manager – take instructions from the QA manager

- Solid level of numeracy – able to calculate & report on performance
- Self-motivated and highly resilient
- A high level of flexibility is required and the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment with sometimes conflicting needs & wants
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Good decision-making skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to achieve deadlines and prioritise workload and to measure and track performance.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel.
- Clear communication and listening skills with the ability to adapt language and communication style and to proactively engage/influence stakeholders.
- Good English language verbal and written.
