Job Description:
Amazing opportunity to join our team as we introduce comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery services to our growing array of heart and vascular care at the Elliot Heart and Vascular Center. Our highly skilled cardiothoracic surgeons, physician assistants, perfusionists, nurses and technologists provide advanced surgical treatments for conditions affecting the heart, lungs, and chest cavity.
About the Job:
Nurses provide sterility and safety for all surgical procedures. You must examine, take vital signs, verify allergies, and answer questions to prepare patients for surgery. You must also monitor each patient, record vital signs changes, and use sterile equipment during operation. After surgery, you must dispose of medical waste and disinfect the OR room before closing. You must ensure patient safety and satisfaction before, during, and after surgery. This professional ensures that all procedures go smoothly and that patients return home healthy.
