Position Summary
As a Post Frame Construction Crew Member, you will work with a crew to construct post-frame buildings for agricultural, commercial, residential, and equestrian customers. Crew members assist with all phases of construction, including site preparation, framing, roofing, siding installation, and finishing work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction of post-frame buildings from start to finish.
- Install posts, trusses, girts, roof purlins, steel roofing, and siding.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials and maintain an organized job site.
- Follow construction plans and supervisor instructions.
- Work safely at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment.
- Maintain company quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Travel to job sites as required.
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and inspections.
Qualifications
- Construction experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel overnight
