Fry Cook

Job Description:
Ponderosa in Butler, PA is currently hiring a part-time Fry Cook to join our kitchen team. We’re looking for someone dependable, hard-working, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking and takes pride in delivering quality food with efficiency and care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook fried food items to order, ensuring consistency and quality

• Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly

• Maintain a clean and organized fry station and work area

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

• Assist with kitchen prep, restocking, and cleanup as needed

• Communicate clearly with team members to fulfill orders quickly and accurately

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• A positive attitude and a team-player mindset are essential
