WinnMed is seeking a compassionate and dependable Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Emergency Department team. The PCT provides direct basic patient care to patients of all ages under the supervision of an RN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain/report vital signs
- Provide hygiene care and assist with dressing patients
- Collect patient samples and specimens
- Transport patients to other departments
- Clean and stock patient rooms, carts, and linens
- Complete data entry in patient records
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Nursing Assistant certification or EMT license
- BLS certification
Preferred:
- Formal medical terminology training
- Previous healthcare experience
