We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Braze Technician/Operator (Monday through Friday 6:45AM to 3:15PM) to join our busy production facility in Hatfield, PA.
The ideal candidates should be dependable and punctual with an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn. Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred. However, we are willing to train motivated and mechanically inclined individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Properly assemble and fixture parts for braze runs.
- Check dimensions against drawings and customer requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and an orderly work area.
- Accurately assemble braze parts per drawings and/or work instructions.
- Inspect parts post-processing to ensure they adequately meet customer requirements.
- Ensure parts are properly packaged according to customer specifications and to avoid damage when shipped or delivered.
- Work efficiently while ensuring company quality standards are maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable, organized and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Able to lift, bend, reach and stand on a daily basis and for period of time.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed component and assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Prior brazing experience preferred. (Welding, soldering experience a plus)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work and overcome obstacles to obtain positive results.
