The Opportunity

This full-time Cold Store Supervisor role at our Lobethal processing plant, where you can take on a key supervisory position within the company's warehousing and distribution operations. As an industry leader in meat processing, we are looking for an experienced warehouse professional to oversee the efficient and safe running of our refrigerated facility.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Achieve agreed operating efficiencies

· Meeting Production goals

· DAWR licensing product quality standards

· Provide daily production reports to Production Manager

· Workplace health & safety requirements

· Documentation management

· Supervise staff & provide training

What you’ll need:

· A proactive, safety-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement

· Leadership experience in a cold store or manufacturing environment with the ability to drive efficiency

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels.  Effective listening skills.

· In-depth knowledge of DAWR, WHS, Export & Domestic regulations and compliance requirements at the national and state levels

· Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform business strategies and operational decisions.

· Understanding of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practice

· A current Australian drivers licence and a Forklift licence

· Whilst not essential, an Aus-meat Sheep Meat specification level 2, will be highly regarded
