Just like our best cuts of meat, there are a few essential qualities that we need and look for in this role:

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.

• Diagnose & resolve mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime.

• Support reliability improvements by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions.

• Work closely with production and reliability teams to ensure plant availability and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in line with company systems.

• Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.

About You

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent).

• Proven experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment.

• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a safety-first mindset.

Desirable

• Experience with pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Knowledge of reliability practices and CMMS systems.

• Welding/fabrication skills.
