Field Mechanic (Travel Required)

The Level II Field Mechanic will be responsible for the following:

           · Perform and train others on repairs and how to maintain all equipment and vehicles on job sites.

           · Ability to diagnose and operate equipment.

           · Maintain proper record keeping, open work orders for all repairs, and distribute workload as needed.

Requirements:

· Overnight travel will be required. Including some Weekends.

· Ability to work on both job sites and shop environments.

· Minimum of 5+ years related work experience on construction equipment.

· Ability to tear down and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, differentials/gear boxes, and undercarriage components.

· Must be capable of leading shop function on any given day including but not limited to personnel, parts ordering, diagnosing, quoting repairs etc.

· Ability to repair all types of construction equipment.

· Valid Class A CDL required.

· DOT certification required.

· Must have own comprehensive set of tools to complete mechanical repairs.

· Knowledge to lead a large variety of repairs

· Must be familiar with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting.
