Job description

This is a medical home where staff receive training on various medical devices including but not limited to: wheelchairs, standers, g-tubes, advanced suctioning, oxygen, med administration. No previous experience is needed. Paid training is provided.

Direct care professionals at ACR Homes are based in one home according to their availability and pre-scheduled monthly for a minimum of 2 shifts/week (approx 12-16 hours). Hours that could be available include day shifts (6am-8am, 6am-9am, 6am-9:30am), evening/weekend shifts (2pm-10pm/3pm-10pm). Some employees choose to work a variety of shifts.

Openings vary per home and geographical region.

No experience is necessary.

You must be at least 18 years old
You must have a drivers license and a relatively clean driving record
You must be able and willing to provide personal care for both male and female clients
You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
You must be able to work independently and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustment
You must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
Part-time requires a minimum of 2 shifts/week.
Full-time employees must work at least 38-40 hours per week
