This hybrid role combines diagnostic imaging with hands-on clinical patient care, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working closely with both patients and providers.

Responsibilities:

Radiology Duties

• Perform high-quality digital X-rays following physician orders and radiation safety standards.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform quality control procedures.
• Document imaging studies accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Medical Assistant Duties

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Document medical history, medications, and chief complaints.
• Prepare patients for provider examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during office visits and minor procedures.
• Administer injections and perform clinical duties within scope of practice.
• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other clinical tasks as assigned.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards.
• Support patient scheduling and clinic workflow as needed

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification or Limited/LMRT certification
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Current Kentucky radiography license
• Medical Assistant experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to perform both radiology and medical assistant responsibilities.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay: $22–$27 per hour, based on experience.
