As a Medical Assistant / Radiology Technologist Assistant (PRN), you will assist with patient preparation, IV access, contrast support, and clinical workflow to ensure safe and efficient imaging procedures.
We are seeking a skilled, dependable Medical Assistant / Radiology Technologist Assistant (PRN) to join our team at [CLINIC LOCATION]. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in MRI and CT settings, demonstrates strong IV skills, and maintains a calm, patient-centered approach.
This position may include travel to other DIC clinic locations as needed.
Start IVs for CT and MRI contrast-enhanced exams
Assist MRI and CT technologists with patient preparation and positioning
Screen patients for MRI safety (under technologist direction)
Prepare contrast materials and support contrast administration
Monitor patients during and after contrast administration as directed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI and CT suites
Stock supplies and ensure rooms are prepared for procedures
Escort patients and support efficient workflow between modalities
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Communicate effectively with technologists and clinic staff to support patient care
