    Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

    In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

    Process Overview

    Quantitative Strategies and Data Group:

    Quantitative Strategies and Data Group (QSDG) is part of the Global Business Services Team. The QSDG UMR Initiatives team supports Trade Compression, Initial Margin (IM), SA-CCR, and Risk Optimization initiatives across Global Markets businesses.

    The team is responsible for:

    • Driving trade compression initiatives through process automation, analytics, enhanced reporting, and optimization of compression opportunities.
    • Supporting IM and SA-CCR optimization initiatives to reduce Initial Margin, RWA, and funding costs through data-driven analysis and strategic process enhancements.
    • Providing quantitative analysis, risk validation, and business insights to support regulatory and capital optimization programs.
    • Leading automation and technology transformation initiatives, including migration of legacy processes and models to scalable enterprise solutions.
    • Partnering with Front Office, Risk, Technology, Quantitative Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver strategic business outcomes.

    Job Description

    Strategic Automation & Transformation

    • Lead the identification, prioritization, and implementation of automation opportunities across Trade Compression, IM Optimization, and Risk Analytics processes.
    • Define automation roadmaps and drive strategic process transformation initiatives.
    • Oversee prototype development and partner with Technology teams for production implementation.
    • Champion migration of spreadsheet-based workflows to scalable technology platforms.

    Risk Analysis & Validation

    • Provide oversight of risk analytics supporting IM, SA-CCR, and Trade Compression initiatives.
    • Review and challenge model outputs, optimization results, and risk metrics to ensure data integrity and consistency.
    • Lead investigations of unexplained movements in margin, risk sensitivities, capital, and funding metrics.
    • Partner with Front Office and Quant teams to understand underlying drivers and business impacts.
    • Develop robust controls and validation frameworks around optimization and reporting processes.

    Business & Financial Analysis

    • Develop a deep understanding of financial products, market risk, initial margin methodologies, and capital frameworks.
    • Analyze financial implications and business benefits associated with optimization initiatives.
    • Conduct quantitative analysis to identify opportunities for margin reduction, capital optimization, and funding efficiency.
    • Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
    • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning

    Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic automation and optimization initiatives.
    • Own project governance, including status reporting, issue management, stakeholder communication, and risk tracking.
    • Oversee development of analytical frameworks and reporting solutions supporting margin and capital optimization.
    • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all project deliverables.
    • Develop management reporting and trend analysis to support business decision-making.
    • Support regulatory, audit, and control-related initiatives.

    Requirements

    Education

    • MBA (Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Quantitative Finance, or related discipline) is required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline preferred.

    Certifications (Preferred)

    • CFA, FRM, CQF, PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications.
    • Certifications related to Data Analytics, Financial Markets, Risk Management, or Process Automation are preferred.

    Experience Range

    • 4-6 years of experience in Capital Markets, Middle Office, Risk Management, Quantitative Analytics, Trade Compression, Margin Optimization, or Process Transformation functions.
    • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects involving business and technology stakeholders.

    Foundational Skills

    Business & Domain Expertise

    • Strong understanding of capital markets products including Fixed Income Securities, Futures and Options, Swaps and Swaptions, CDS/CDO Products, FRAs, Caps/Floors and FX and Rates Products

    Risk & Quantitative Skills

    • Strong understanding of Initial Margin methodologies, UMR framework, SA-CCR, Market Risk concepts, Value-at-Risk (VaR) and Risk Sensitivities and Risk Attribution

    Technical & Analytical Skills

    • Strong technical skills including experience with Python, SQL, VBA, Advanced Excel, Data Analysis and Reporting Tools

     Desired Skills :

    Banking domain preferred

    Work Timing - 12:30 - 9:30 pm

    Location - Mumbai
