Target Salary Range*: $170,000-210,000

Position Overview:
Amatriot seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Administrator to join our team in Key West, FL. This position is on-site 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
- Work side-by-side with the engineer to maintain and deploy VDI thin clients
- Work directly with SCCM/MECM to ensure patching/security compliance is handled and with the Service Desk department to troubleshoot issues with the hardware/software
- Keeping master image and pools update and secured. Implement patches, updates, and configuration changes in coordination with cybersecurity and IT teams
- Interface with the customer, gathering requirements and delivering solutions.
- Troubleshoot VDI-related issues, including user access, performance, connectivity, and software compatibility
- Monitor system performance and usage to identify bottlenecks or failure points and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. A degree can be substituted for additional experience.
- High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree
- Associate’s degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree
- A master’s degree is equivalent to an additional 2 years of experience and a PhD is equivalent to an additional 4 years of experience
- 5+ years of direct experience supporting VDI environments
- 10+ years of overall IT experience in system administration or related technical roles
- Experience with VMware Horizon, Citrix, or other major VDI solutions. Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- FSLogix and/or HorizonView Client experience preferred
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), or related certification.
