Job Summary:
Marketing Assistant responsibilities include assisting in organizing campaigns, grant writing and developing marketing strategies. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing manager/coordinator, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy.
- Help identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
- Assist the grant writing department.
- Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing and graphic designing.
- Work closely with development and marketing.
- Learn and help create marketing materials such as white papers, case studies, and presentations.
- Help develop and assist with delivering presentations.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and sales team.
- Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents.
- Understanding company product and brand.
- Helping create and interpret a variety of documents/reports.
- Organize market research.
- Learn how to analyze questionnaires and other forms of feedback.
- General office duties as assigned.
- Attend donor meetings and events.
- This position allows the student to practice the skills they learned in their pre-requisite/core classes and year 1 classes, exploring career opportunities in the occupational field of Marketing and Development.
- The student will complete an application and will interview the manager of the assigned work-based learning site (marketing and development).

- Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
- Light to moderate lifting.
- Ability to do moderate bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
- Additional Requirements Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
- Criminal arrest check will be done through the OSBI; Per Section 1025.1 et seq.
- Of Title 56 of the Oklahoma statues, House Bill 1790, any prospective employee with a felony or misdemeanor conviction, guilty plea or plea of nolo contendere will not be eligible for employment.
