Staff Inspector

Position Summary

As a Staff Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying product quality, maintaining documentation, and supporting customer satisfaction through effective communication and adherence to standards.

Position Responsibilities

· Inspect, rework, or repack parts to balance quality and productivity, in compliance with Standardized Work Instructions.

· Accurately collect and record project data using a digital platform.

· Ensure project areas comply with 5S standards.

· Understand and adhere to internal and client policies, including safety instructions, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, uniform standards, and performance and conduct standards.

· Communicate with customers as needed to drive service excellence.

· Complete training requirements promptly.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications - KSA (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· High school diploma or demonstrated ability to perform required functions.

· Previous manufacturing or inspection experience (preferred).

· Experience with basic gauges (calipers, micrometers, scales) and basic metrology (preferred).

· Valid driver’s license (preferred).

· Able to pass a criminal background check, Motor Vehicle Report, and initial and subsequent drug screenings.

· Must be fluent in speaking/writing/reading English.

· Ability to read, comprehend, and apply written work instructions.

· Familiarity with using powered and non-powered hand tools (preferred).

· Effective in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

· Skilled in detail-oriented and repetitive tasks, with the ability to multi-task.

· Ability to consistently adhere to safety standards, uniform guidelines and maintain a professional appearance in accordance with organizational expectations.

· Ability to complete training requirements on time, work overtime with minimal notice, and travel to project locations as needed.

· Ability to understand and interpret safety-related signage and warnings.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

· Corrected 20/20 vision and ability to distinguish colors.

· Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift 10–50 lbs for extended periods.

· Must be able to work in a loud or noisy environment with appropriate hearing protection as needed.

· Good hand/eye coordination and dexterity.

· Must be able to work around dust, mist, vapors, and fumes with proper PPE.
