Job Summary
You will be responsible for managing transport operations for the assigned Distribution Center, ensuring reliable, efficient, and cost-effective transport performance. You will oversee transport planning, resource utilization, performance monitoring, vendor management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with Central Transport standards and network objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day transport operations and delivery execution.
Optimize transport capacity, truck utilization, route efficiency, and backload opportunities.
Monitor transport KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, and operational performance.
Lead resolution of transport delays, disruptions, and escalations.
Manage transport vendors and 3PL partner performance.
Drive process improvements, productivity enhancement, and operational standardization.
Ensure governance, documentation accuracy, and operational controls.
Lead team performance, coaching, succession planning, and capability development.
