SUMMARY

The Reverse Logistics Manager oversees and manages the end-to-end reverse logistics operations for all assigned
Distribution Centers. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective processing of returns, both returns to vendor (RTV) and returns to warehouse (RTW) while minimizing shrinkage, optimizing storage through regular disposals and supplier pull-outs, and safeguarding inventory integrity while maintaining compliance with company policies and sustainability goals.

ROLE

Leadership
• Lead and manage RTV (Return to Vendor) and RTW (Return to Warehouse) operations across all Distribution Centers.
• Provide guidance to RTV/RTW supervisors and teams across DCs, including training, coaching, mentoring, and capability building.

Compliance and Reporting
• Oversee compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations, ensuring 100% adherence.
• Lead regular audits and ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all return transactions.
• Manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs), review controls, and recommend process improvements to enhance overall productivity and accuracy.
• Regularly monitor and report on inventory status, aging, and shrinkage, providing actionable insights to reduce losses and optimize space utilization.
• Coordinate and align closely with internal departments to resolve return related issues and improve efficiency.
• Escalate operational issues proactively and propose recommendations to address root causes effectively.

Vendor Management
• Oversee vendor compliance with return agreements and negotiate resolutions for disputes or discrepancies.

Process Improvement
• Identify inefficiencies in RTV and RTW workflows and develop, implement, and continuously improve processes for handling returned and unsellable goods.
• Use data analytics to monitor performance and reduce costs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including system enhancements, process digitization, and cross-DC best practice sharing.

Support Responsibilities
• Support manpower planning, recruitment, performance evaluation, and succession planning to maintain a high-performing team.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned to support operational and organizational goals.
