ASDOH - Ortho Dental Assistant

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Dental Assistant for Orthodontics on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will provide support as a chairside assistant to assigned residents, performing daily four-handed assisting duties and working solo with patients. Duties &

Responsibilities:

• Input charting and notes in Dolphin, and acquire CBCT x-rays.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Orthodontic unit and clinic.
• Independently complete daily and weekly assigned maintenance tasks for your monthly assignment, the lab, and the clinic.
• Attend monthly on-site meetings and off-site meetings as assigned.
• Scanning patient documents, stocking, cleaning units, and clinic areas.
• Place maintenance request emails for broken items.
• Provide feedback on supply usage.
• Continuing education course attendance.
• Cleaning the kitchen area.
• Assisting with clerical work as needed (Dolphin status clean up, scanning, etc).
