    Job description

At ABB, we help industries run leaner and cleaner—and every person here makes that happen. You’ll be empowered to lead, supported to grow, and proud of the impact we create together. Join us and help run what runs the world.

The Measurement & Analytics Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the marine industry. The Division enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from sensing and smart measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing ‘before’ and ‘after’ values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.

    Your Role: Own the Challenge

    ·     Ensure compliance with our processes, standards, and best practices, and conduct project, process, and supplier audits.

    ·     Participate in the selection, qualification, evaluation, monitoring, and improvement of our suppliers in collaboration with the project team.

    ·     Generate project quality plans.

    ·     Validate and approve design, procurement, integration, and testing documentation, and control quality during integration and assembly testing.

    ·     Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) as a quality decision-maker and contribute to the closure of non-conformities.

    ·     Participate in the Configuration Control Board (CCB) as a quality decision-maker and track the implementation of design changes.

    ·     Participate in the management of quality systems and business processes for the SDS (Space Defense System) business unit. Initiate and drive process simplification and optimization initiatives to completion.

What it takes to run what runs the world

    ·     University degree in engineering (or equivalent experience).

    ·     Leadership, decision-making skills, rigor, ability to work in a team, autonomy, sense of responsibility, strong analytical and communication skills (both oral and written), and an interest in working within a regulated/standardized environment.

    ·     A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience/expertise.

    ·     French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.

    ·     Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard.

    ·     Knowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100 / EN9100 standard).

    ·     Knowledge of project management and risk management.

    ·     Proficiency in quality tools (APQP, FMEA, etc.).

    ·     ISO9001 or AS9100 internal auditor certification is an asset.

    ·     Experience working in a regulated/standardized environment.

    Why ABB?

We empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence. You’ll grow through meaningful work, continuous learning, and support that’s tailored to your goals. Every idea you share and every action you take contributes to something bigger.
