Senior Full Stack Developer work

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, I design, develop, and maintain applications across the Java backend and React frontend. I translate business requirements into secure, maintainable solutions, taking ownership of features from initial discussion through implementation, testing, and delivery.

On the backend, I build and improve Java-based services using the Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. I optimize performance and reliability, using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and EC2 where appropriate.

On the frontend, I create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Working closely with UI/UX colleagues, I turn designs and user stories into reusable components, manage application state, and ensure smooth integration with backend services.

As a senior member of the team, I contribute to architectural decisions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and help establish development best practices. I review code through GitLab merge requests, mentor colleagues, and improve code quality, automated testing, and the development process.

I collaborate with product, development, database, and DevOps teams to deliver features and troubleshoot issues across the application stack. I also have opportunities to deepen my infrastructure-as-code knowledge using Terraform. My experience with PHP can be useful when supporting the migration of legacy platform components to Java.

We are obliged to comply with HIPAA, keeping clients' protected health information (PHI) safe. Our goal is to follow ISO 27001, the leading international standard focused on information security.

Tech stack requirements

To excel in this role, I'll need strong experience in full stack development using Java and React. Proficiency in core Java, Java EE, and the Spring Framework, together with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, is a must. I should be comfortable designing and integrating RESTful APIs, working with microservices architecture, and using state management libraries such as Redux. Experience with automated testing, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD processes will help me maintain high code quality. As a senior developer, I'll also bring the ability to guide technical decisions, take ownership of complex features, and mentor colleagues.

Understanding of AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and EC2 would be beneficial, but not essential. Familiarity with Terraform, Azure services, or PHP for legacy migration is an additional advantage.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, I’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based backend services and React web applications. I’ll create innovative solutions using modern technologies, delivering secure, scalable applications and a seamless user experience.

Salary range
From 3 000 gross/month. Final salary agreement depends on candidate's skill-set and experience.
