Facilities & Safety Coordinator

ABEC is looking for a proactive and hands-on Facilities & Safety Coordinator to support facility operations while championing workplace safety across our manufacturing site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, coordinating projects, and making a visible impact every day.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across manufacturing, warehouse, and office areas.
• Manage facility work requests and prioritize projects to support operational needs.
• Lead safety initiatives, inspections, audits, and corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative solutions.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and employee awareness programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Partner with employees, supervisors, contractors, and leadership to promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintain facility and safety records, metrics, and project tracking systems.

What We're Looking For

• Associate degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, safety, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
