We are hosting a walk-in interview event Wednesday September 30, 2026, from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm for our Abilities First Myers Corners Education Center, located in Wappingers Falls, NY. The interviews will be held at:

We are hiring immediately for the following positions:

• Special Education Teachers – Full Time – master's degree in special education with appropriate NYS Teaching Certification, or bachelor’s degree in special education or related field, with graduate level Coursework in Special Education with NYS Provisional Certification or Certificate of Qualification (Salary Range: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 a year)
• Teaching Assistants- On-Call / Full Time -NYS TA Certification Required (Rate: $17.82 - $18.82)
• Teachers’ Aides- On-Call /Full Time - Entry level, a great way to get started! (Rate: $16.88 - 17.88)

Full-time positions are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm; 32.5 hours per week, 48 weeks per year. This position follows the school calendar (September – June), with a 6-week summer program.
