We're an AI-native third-party administrator (TPA) that makes it easy for financial advisors to offer 401(k)s and other retirement products by pairing streamlined workflows with dedicated human service. Backed by leading investors including Bain Capital and Edward Jones Ventures, we bring decades of experience building for advisors, business owners, and the retirement industry. You’ll be the senior product manager responsible for our digital platform used by advisors at our enterprise partner firms to grow and service retirement plans. You’ll partner with the operating team and set a clear direction for the platform—using enterprise partner input to decide what to build now vs. what to defer, and reconciling the needs of multiple partners into a single roadmap.
As a full-cycle product owner, you’ll run: enterprise partner input → problem definition → shaping with R&D and SMEs → build → release → adoption and iteration. Our team has four-week cycles, a Shape Up-inspired cadence, and a working style where engineers and SMEs take a front seat in problem-solving rather than receiving finished specifications.
This role demands strong product judgment. Success means making our choices clear and credible to large, regulated organizations whose planning cycles move more slowly than ours.
You'll report to our COO and work closely with our Head of Strategic Partnerships, who owns the enterprise relationship with each partner firm, ensuring the commercial, executive, and product tracks stay aligned. You’ll be a senior individual contributor with no direct reports.
Platform Ownership and Roadmap
Own the roadmap end to end, including module and feature sequencing, capability definition, and release planning.
Reconcile partner-specific asks into platform decisions, grounded in real advisor needs rather than the loudest request in the room: what gets built once for everyone, what gets configured per firm, and what we decline and why.
Maintain the context behind what each partner has committed to, what is Aboon's own architecture versus a partner requirement, and what remains open.
Pull your own usage, product, and feedback data (Redshift, Metabase, PostHog) and form a point of view before bringing something to engineering.
Measure adoption after release: who is using what, where advisors drop off, and which capabilities are earning their place on the roadmap.
Partner Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary day-to-day product contact for partner digital and product teams, running the product meeting cadence and keeping information flowing cleanly in both directions.
Maintain a tight two-way loop with the Head of Strategic Partnerships, so feedback/planning sessions and commercial conversations inform each other.
Build trust and credibility with senior partner stakeholders (e.g., heads of wealth and workplace, digital and product leaders, platform and compliance teams).
Manage partner expectations externally and present a recommended approach internally.
Navigate enterprise-style partner processes: formal evaluations, security and compliance reviews, architecture discussions, and long approval cycles.
Partner with the COO and CEO on the conversations where executive presence matters.
Shaping and Delivery
Shape work collaboratively in workstream pages with embedded roadmap views: define the problem, lay out options and tradeoffs, and work it through with R&D until it's ready to build.
Maintain our four-week cycle pace even while partner stakeholders move at their own speed, managing expectations appropriately.
Cross-Functional Execution
Work closely with Engineering on architecture and sequencing decisions, and with Design on the advisor-facing experience across partner firms.
Work closely with Applied AI to ensure AI agents that power the platform are delivering outcomes that solve identified problems and delight the end user while balancing real cost.
Coordinate release readiness with Strategic Partnerships, Partner Sales, Marketing, Plan Consulting and Operational Enablement so what we promise in partner conversations matches what the platform can deliver and when.
Hybrid enterprise partner manager and product manager: You've built in fast-cycle product environments and paired with large, regulated partners that move more slowly than your team does.
Technically self-sufficient: You pull your own data at the SQL or BI-tool level, or close to it, and arrive with a read rather than a data request. You can hold your own in an architecture conversation without needing to own the answer.
A natural connector: Given messy, conflicting signal from several partners, you can find the shape underneath it and propose a direction.
Communicative: You can be the product authority in a partner conversation and are comfortable telling a partner no, or not yet, with a reason they respect. You share your view, push back when you think something is wrong, and get to the right answer together.
High ownership: You move fast, communicate clearly, and pull cross-functional teams in early so launches don't create downstream surprises.
Mission-aligned: You care about modernizing a complex, under-built space and can translate that into a product story partners believe.
Required
6+ years in product management, with meaningful time in a fast-cycle SaaS environment.
Demonstrated ownership of a platform or product serving enterprise partners, where you were the person the partner called and you ran the cadence.
Experience shaping product collaboratively with engineering and design rather than specifying and handing off.
Comfort querying and analyzing your own product and usage data.
Strong writing: crisp product narratives, partner-facing materials, and internal decision docs.
Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage building where you create the structure.
Hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar AI tools in day-to-day work.
Nice to have
Retirement, wealth, or advisor-platform experience strongly preferred; adjacent regulated fintech (banking, brokerage, payments infrastructure) also relevant.
Experience in an environment where compliance review is part of the build cycle is a plus.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $220,000-$240,000 depending on experience, skills, and location. Total compensation also includes an annual bonus and equity.

Location
Remote, though we encourage in-person attendance at 1-2 company retreats per year. There may also be required travel for customer meetings, onsites, and strategic working sessions. This role is open to candidates based in the US. Work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
