As a Bartender, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating an attractive atmosphere in BODA bar through service and ambiance
- Creating cocktails and delivering a unique experience for our guests
- Daily preparation and closing of bar area
- Deliver high‑quality guest service by providing efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service that meets standards, including VIP/regular guest needs and room service.
- Maintain operational excellence through proper hygiene, cleaning, mis‑en‑place, equipment control, stock takes, and accurate communication with kitchen and guests.
- Ensure accurate financial processes including guest billing, shift revenue reconciliation, and correct posting of charges.
- Support smooth daily operations by adhering to service times, ensuring staff competence and sales maximisation, and working flexibly across a 7‑day rotating roster with early and late shifts.
Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you also have:
- Prior Bartending experience
- Articulate verbal communication and passion for building a rapport with our guests.
- Ability to work well under pressure, think on your feet and ability to make quick decisions.
- Clear and efficient communication with the kitchen team.
- The right to work in New Zealand
