Purchasing Assistant

As a Purchasing Assistant, you are responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that facilitate the effective operation of the purchasing department.

Overall Responsibilities:

·         Accurate data entry and maintenance of products and purchase orders

·         Maintain supplier notes and information, both with digital and analog records

·         Run and distribute reports

·         Execute internal processes and programs on a routine schedule

·         Review files and other documents to obtain and collate information to respond to requests

·         Perform general administrative tasks as necessary

·         Provide support as needed to buyers/purchasing team

·         Communicate with supplier, employees, or other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address issues

·         Provide general support for senior leadership

·         Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Physical Requirements & Environment

·         This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Compensation

·         Base wage: $18.00

Qualifications:
