    Job description

    WHO WE ARE

ActBlue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating cutting-edge technology that fuels Democratic victories and enables progressive causes to thrive.

Our vision is simple: building change through the power of people. Since our founding, we’ve been building innovative solutions to revolutionize grassroots fundraising – if you’ve donated to a Democratic campaign or a progressive organization online, you’ve probably used our platform! We believe in putting power in the hands of small-dollar donors by helping thousands of groups — from local candidates to national movements — mobilize their communities and create a lasting impact. Every member of our team is deeply committed to advancing our shared mission and core values. Together, we are shaping the future of democracy.

    THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Analyst on ActBlue’s Finance team, you will serve as a liaison between multiple departments within ActBlue, ActBlue senior leadership, and our business partners. You will provide guidance, reporting and analysis, and technical support on our financial systems, housed in NetSuite. You will be responsible for data integrity, consistency, and reporting, which is critical to ActBlue’s most important financial decisions. In addition, you will serve as an internal point of contact for best practices within our financial systems.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Configure and customize financial systems such as ERP/General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Travel, and Reimbursement, to align with business and regulatory requirements, processes, and changes. Develop and maintain custom fields, forms, workflows, and records to enhance system functionality.
    • Act as a subject matter expert to departments and leaders across ActBlue on the configuration, customization, data, and reporting functionality within our ERP system.
    • Provide ERP support to users within the organization by troubleshooting issues, resolving problems, and offering guidance on system usage. Conduct training sessions for new and existing users to ensure optimal utilization of NetSuite features.
    • Continually build out automation of manual processes, as well as NetSuite General Ledger and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB) reporting.
    • Support new integrations and system implementations related to ERP.
    • Monitor interfaces with the payment processing (Stripe), travel platform (Navan), payroll system (Rippling), expense management (Expensify), corporate cards (American Express), corporate transportation (UBER/Lyft) and Amalgamated Bank. Ensure the integrity of interfaces and troubleshoot to resolve any issues.
    • Ensure all updates and transitions to new releases are implemented without interruption to the production environment.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
    • Support supplementary projects as assigned, ensuring timely and efficient completion in line with organizational objectives and standards.

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • 3-5+ years of ERP platform management experience, including experience working with NetSuite ERP and Netsuite NSPB.
    • Experience with payment processor, tax, and payroll integration with ERP
    • A solid understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and reporting.
    • NetSuite Administrator Certification (preferred)
    • Experience with Stripe, Avalara tax and Rippling is a plus
    • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams.
    • A solid understanding of ETL/ELT/SQL script practices.
    • Familiarity with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder for customization.
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills. You know when to adjust your focus, format, vocabulary, and level of detail according to the audience and communication goals.
    • You are team-oriented and have a solid analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong project management skills, and a growth mindset.
    • You constantly tie your work to the strategic context and the problems your team and organization are trying to solve to maintain focus and ensure your work is aligned with the broader mission.
    • You lead with curiosity and are dedicated to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
    • You don’t just welcome but center and amplify backgrounds and points of view that differ from yours.
