ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support the Director of Food & Beverage in the leadership and management of all Food & Beverage operations across the property.
- Assist in maintaining operational excellence across restaurants, bars, beach and pool service, and special events.
- Ensure service standards consistently reflect Palm Heights’ ultra-luxury positioning and creative identity.
- Assume oversight of all operations including shift duties.
- Monitor guest feedback and collaborate with operational teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Support outlet leaders in maintaining distinctive concepts while ensuring alignment with the Palm Heights brand.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new dining experiences, activations, and guest engagement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and motivate department managers and supervisors to achieve operational and service excellence.
- Oversee daily staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management initiatives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis and cost-control measures across all Food & Beverage outlets.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors aligned with the brand’s quality standards.
- Promote sustainability initiatives and responsible operating practices throughout the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven management experience in luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality environments.
- Experience overseeing multiple Food & Beverage outlets within a resort, hotel, or destination dining environment.
- Strong operational expertise with a hands-on leadership approach.
- Sound financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and team-development skills.
- Deep understanding of luxury service principles and guest experience excellence.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food, beverage, hospitality, and experiential dining concepts.
Salary: USD$80,000.00 - USD$90,000.00 per annum
