The Skagit Valley Herald in Mount Vernon, Washington, is seeking a well-rounded, full-time reporter to cover one of the state's most diverse and exciting communities. The successful applicant will have good news judgment, a commitment to accuracy and fairness, and a desire to grow with a newspaper that serves its readers on numerous platforms.  "Must-haves" include strong social media skills and basic video and photography skills.  If you join us, expect to cover everything from breaking news to compelling features to investigative projects.

Minimum requirements are a bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field and a demonstrable ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
