Responsibilities

Perform QC/QA testing on Civil Engineering projects
Calibrate and maintain laboratory and field-testing equipment.
Obtain/maintain certifications for performing field and laboratory construction materials testing through a program approved by a State DOT (CTTP).
Operate and maintain a company truck during working hours.
Be prepared for field and lab work
Keep Lab area clean and workable.
Reports to the CMT Supervisor for field work and day-to-day operations.
Responds to requests of Lab Supervisor regarding laboratory activities needed.
Aids in ordering and obtaining supplies for materials lab.
Always strive to improve your job performance.
Be cordial and patient with all fellow employees, owners/clients, and others associated with your job.
Perform all other duties as requested by the CMT Supervisor not covered in this description above, but necessary to ensure an effective operation of MCE on a continuing basis.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (BS) program from an accredited Engineering Program
Microsoft Office Suites (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Mathematics

Strong work ethic
Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
