    Job Description:

    • Flexible DNAP schedule: Four days dedicated to teaching and academic work, plus one clinical day each week. This day may be used for clinical practice at market rates or taken as personal time.
    • Identifies and documents student performance or conduct concerns, implements appropriate remediation plans, and follows institutional policies for disciplinary action or dismissal when warranted.
    • Evaluates learning resources such as reference material, audio/visual aids, computer-assisted learning programs, and library acquisitions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Designs, develops, and delivers high-quality instruction and course materials including syllabi, assessments, and clinical assignments.
    • Assesses student performance through timely grading, feedback, office hours, clinical, and formal evaluation.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to work in face-to-face and online teaching environment. [Required]
    • Knowledge of computer based academic delivery systems. [Required]
    • Ability to work with an ethnically diverse student body. [Required]
    • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills. [Required]
    • Ability to demonstrate honesty, integrity and commitment to maintaining high professional standards. [Required]
    • Ability to work as a member of a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals. [Required]
    • Verbal communication with college administration, faculty, staff and others internal and external to the university. [Required]
    • Organizational skills. [Required]
    • Self-directed and have skills in writing and consultation. [Required]

    Education:

    • Doctorate of Nursing [Required]

    Work Experience:

    • 7+ current experience in clinical practice as nurse anesthetist [Required]
    • 7+ teaching experience at the graduate level. [Required]

    Licenses and Certifications:

    • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) [Required]
    • Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) [Required]

    Pay Range:

    $110,702.15 - $205,911.28
