As a Business Development Officer, you will play a vital role in expanding our network of partnerships and driving growth through establishing strategic collaborations, university agreements, and articulation programs.

What Does This Opportunity Mean for You

    • Identify and target potential partner institutions for collaboration, including universities, colleges, and educational organizations, to enhance our academic offerings and promote student mobility.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including university officials, academic departments, and faculty members, to explore partnership opportunities and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative and market-aligned programs, articulation pathways, and joint initiatives that meet the needs of students, enhance academic quality, and drive enrollment growth.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and new opportunities in the higher education landscape.
    • Proactively seek out and participate in industry conferences, fairs, and networking events to promote our institution, forge new connections, and generate leads.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and partnership agreements to prospective partner institutions, showcasing the benefits and value of collaboration.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as admissions, marketing, and academic departments, to ensure seamless implementation and coordination of partnership activities.
    • Monitor and track the progress of partnership initiatives, evaluate their effectiveness, and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators and achievements.
    • Stay updated with industry regulations, accreditation standards, and changes in higher education policies that may impact partnership opportunities and program development.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, digital campaigns, and targeted communication strategies to raise awareness of our institution and partnership offerings.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of our institution's academic programs, strengths, and competitive advantages to effectively communicate and position them to potential partners.

    Skills and Attributes Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or sales, preferably within the higher education industry.
    • Strong knowledge of the higher education landscape, including articulation agreements, credit transfer policies, and international collaboration opportunities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey value propositions and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market trends, assess business opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
    • Proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
