    Job description

Aerospike is the real-time database for mission-critical use cases and workloads, including machine learning, generative, and agentic AI. Aerospike powers millions of transactions per second with millisecond latency, at a fraction of the total cost of ownership compared to other databases.

Global leaders, including Adobe, Airtel, Barclays, Criteo, DBS Bank, Experian, Grab, HDFC Bank, PayPal, Sony Interactive Entertainment, The Trade Desk, and Wayfair, rely on Aerospike for customer 360, fraud detection, real-time bidding, profile stores, recommendation engines, and other use cases.

At Aerospike, we dream big and deliver even bigger. Our mission is to unleash the power of the world’s real-time data with a database built for infinite scale, speed, and sustainability.

If you're ready to shape the future of data, join us.

As the Office and Employee Experience Manager, you’ll create an exceptional workplace experience for Aerospike employees around the world. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will own the design and execution of programs that foster a culture where our employees can thrive.

This role requires working from the Mountain View office four days per week, with occasional weeks requiring five days.

If you want to be part of a People team that makes a meaningful impact and join a company that prioritizes the employee experience, we’d love to have you on board!

    Key Responsibilities

    Workplace & Office Operations

    • Serve as the primary front-office contact, managing the day-to-day operations of the Mountain View office and support Aerospike’s WeWork locations globally.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for building management, vendors, and office service providers.
    • Drive and manage the office snack and food program - ordering and restocking, including budget management.

    Employee Experience & Events

    • Support the planning and execution of employee experience programs, communication, and events that engage both hybrid and remote employees and strengthen Aerospike’s culture.
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, the employee swag program, and other key employee transition activities.
    • Drive employee recognition programs, including birthdays, tenure anniversaries, MVP awards, and more, while connecting recognition to Aerospike’s company values.

    Budget & Cross-Functional Support

    • Track employee experience and office expenses; drive budget management and invoice processing.
    • Partner with the Global People team, IT, Finance, Admins, and other cross-functional teams on employee programs and workplace initiatives.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in employee experience, workplace and/or HR operations, office management, events, hospitality, or a related role, with at least 8+ years of overall professional experience.
    • Global Perspective: Experience supporting remote or distributed teams across different locations, cultures, or time zones is a plus.
    • Service-Oriented Mindset: A genuine passion for helping others, anticipating employee needs, and creating a positive experience at every touchpoint.
    • Office Coordination: Experience supporting day-to-day office operations, coordinating deliveries, working with vendors, and responding to employee requests.
    • Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, deadlines, vendors, and employee requests.
    • Creativity: Ability to develop thoughtful and engaging ways to strengthen employee morale, connection, and celebration while working within a budget.
    • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and leaders.
    • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with the People team, cross-functional partners, vendors, and employees
    • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing priorities, and assisting wherever needed.

    Salary Range: $135,000 – $155,000
(Actual compensation will be based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.)
