    • Collaborate with Business Finance to ensure high-quality planning, reporting, and analytical outputs, enabling greater focus on forward-looking business partnering.
    • Leverage data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve data accuracy, accelerate insights, and enhance decision support.
    • Develop a team of professionals who deliver timely, accurate insights that enable business decisions.
    • Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, clearly communicating key issues, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Advance reporting standardization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making through SAP, Power BI, advanced analytics, and digital finance tools.
    • Lead, coach, and develop finance analysts, fostering collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and talent development across cultures and organizational boundaries.

    Critical Competencies

    • Strong business and commercial acumen.
    • Strategic thinking and structured problem solving.
    • Influencing and business partnership across global, matrixed organizations.
    • Financial modeling and analytical rigor.
    • Digital and AI fluency to enhance insights and productivity.
    • Executive communication and stakeholder management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
    • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience, including progressive responsibility in finance leadership roles.
    • Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders and finance partners.
    • Must have experience leading complex and material projects at the enterprise level.
    • Demonstrated ability to leverage digital technologies, automation, AI, and advanced analytics to improve finance effectiveness and business insight.
    • Strong executive presence with the ability to synthesize complex business issues into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
    • Strong understanding of Agilent’s business finance processes.
    • Proven ability to assess critical business issues, synthesize complex information, and recommend practical actions for senior leadership.
    • Experience leveraging SAP, Power BI, reporting automation, and digital finance tools to improve business insight and decision-making.
    • Flexibility to support evening or night shift requirements during month-end and quarter-end close cycles, as needed.
    • Willingness to take on ad hoc responsibilities and support additional business priorities as required.
