Job Summary:
Agri Industries Inc is seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role supports our electrical crew in agricultural and industrial settings, assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This is a hands-on learning position designed for individuals working toward journeyman electrician status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in agricultural and industrial environments
- Support conduit installation, wiring, panel work, and equipment connections
- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under the supervision of a licensed electrician
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and electrical codes
- Travel to various job sites as required
- Participate in on-the-job training and apprenticeship coursework
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments, including farms, industrial sites, and construction locations. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, climb ladders, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
