AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) for their Manhattan Adult Day Services program. The BIS provides behavior support services, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment services as a member of departmental or inter-departmental interdisciplinary teams.
Compensation Package: $62,000 per year depending on licenses, certifications and experience. In addition, this position comes with a generous and comprehensive health benefit package. See Benefit information below.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (35 hours)
Location: 101 Norfolk Street - Manhattan
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in clinical/treatment psychology (with training in assessment + behavioral support plans).
2+ years’ direct experience with developmental disabilities: creating, implementing, and monitoring behavioral support plans or supervising/training others in their implementation.
Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Experience overseeing administrative tasks for regulatory compliance and program operations.
Ability to collaborate effectively and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving environments and organizational cultures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Board certification (BCBA) or state licensure.
Coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
