DSP HIRING EVENT - Manhattan (ICF)

AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT for Full & Part -Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for our Manhattan ICF residence.

PAY RATE: $20.60-$20.96 per hour depending on Driving status. In addition, this position comes with a comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.

DATE & TIME: THURSDAY OCTOBER 8TH from 10AM-1PM

LOCATION: Recruiter will provide Hiring Event specific address for qualified candidates.

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:

40hr evening Shift: 2pm-10pm......Drivers License Required!

30hr Weekend Overnight shift: 10pm-8am...Friday night - Sunday night....Driver's License NOT Required!

Weekend availability Required for most positions!

• The oversight of all safety and health considerations
• Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
• Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
• Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
• Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
• Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• High school education/GED, highly preferred.
