Electrical Designer or Electrical Engineer

Air Controls-Billings, Montana is seeking an Electrical Designer or Electrical Engineer to join our team! 

Hourly wage starts at $28 - $38 per hour, DOE. Our wage packages include employer paid medical, dental, vision plans and profit share.

The Electrical Designer or Electrical Engineer will work closely with our staff of mechanical and plumbing engineers to design the electrical systems in construction projects. Most projects will employ design-build strategies and will be fast paced from concepts through construction.

Job Duties: 

• Plan and design electrical systems for commercial buildings
• Produce plans and specifications using AutoCAD or other current software
• Address field issues involving electrical systems
• Estimate the time, cost, labor, and materials that are needed for the projects

Job Requirements:

• 5 years experience in Commercial Construction
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have knowledge in AutoCAD
• Bluebeam/Revit skills a plus
• Passed fundamentals of engineering exam
• Ability to travel locally to work at various types of construction sites and service locations
• Attend training sessions as required to keep up on current trends and for continuing education
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field a plus
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred but not required
