Votre mission, si vous l'acceptez :
Une offre de stage intitulée « Stage en Dynamique du Vol - Suivi en vol des flottes Pleiades NEO et CO3D (h/f) » vient de s'ouvrir au sein de Airbus Defence and Space sur son site de Toulouse-Palays.
Vous rejoindrez le département “Flight dynamics & mission analysis” en charge des activités de dynamique du vol spatial et d’analyse mission pour des missions d’observation de la Terre, scientifiques ou de télécommunications.
Votre stage consistera à: améliorer le suivi en vol de nos satellites LEO en développant de tout nouveaux moyens opérationnels d'analyse et de réglage de la qualité de nos modèles d'estimation d'orbite, de prédiction d'orbite et de risque de collision, et ainsi consolider leurs domaines de validité respectifs.
Pour se faire, les données opérationnelles des satellites Pléiades NEO et CO3D seront plus particulièrement mises à disposition, et des développements dans le logiciel de dynamique du vol d’Airbus (QUARTZ) devront être réalisés, pour notamment analyser la performance des derniers concepts opérationnels associés à ces programmes, comme par exemple la mise en place de calibrations automatiques (poussées et coefficients de traînée).
Vous serez ainsi intégrés dans l’équipe de développement de Quartz, au sein d’un processus agile.
Ce stage, d'une durée de 6 mois, débutera idéalement en mars 2027 (cette période est indicative et pourra être ajustée).
Ce stage nécessite une habilitation de sécurité ou nécessite d'être éligible à une habilitation par les autorités reconnues.

Your mission :
An internship opportunity titled : "Flight Dynamics Internship - In-flight monitoring of Pleiades NEO and CO3D fleets (m/f)" has just opened at Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse-Palays. You will join the "Flight Dynamics & Mission Analysis" department, which is responsible for space flight dynamics activities and mission analysis for Earth observation, scientific, and telecommunications missions.
The objective of this internship is to improve the in-flight monitoring of our LEO satellites by developing entirely new operational methods for analyzing and adjusting the quality of our orbit estimation, orbit prediction, and collision risk models, thereby consolidating their respective domains of validity.
To achieve this, operational data from the Pléiades NEO and CO3D satellites will be specifically made available, and developments must be carried out within Airbus's flight dynamics software (QUARTZ), notably to analyze the performance of the latest operational concepts associated with these programs, such as the implementation of automatic calibrations (thrust and drag coefficients).
You will be integrated into the Quartz development team, working within an agile process.
Ideally, this is a 6-month internship and it should start in March 2026 (date subject to flexibility).
This position requires a security clearance or requires to be eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.
