As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Construction Installation Technician to join our team!
Our HVAC Construction Installers perform high-quality installations for commercial heating and cooling systems. You’ll join an experienced, professional team focused on delivering reliable, timely service and exceptional installations.
Essential Functions
- Install HVAC controls and related components
- Perform refrigerant piping and ensure proper line set installation
- Complete furnace venting installations according to code and manufacturer specifications
- Conduct system start-ups to ensure proper and safe operation
- Handle warranty-related tasks, including troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Perform job turnover with customers, explaining system features and operation
- Prepare company paperwork as instructed
- Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, and flexible HVAC installations
- Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and courteous interactions with our customers
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform miscellaneous HVAC duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC installation field experience
- Ability to work additional hours during peak seasons
- Verifiable work experience with references from previous employers
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Strong general installation knowledge and ability to operate basic hand tools
- Professional, neat, and clean appearance
- Team-oriented mindset & self-motivated
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physical demands and abilities
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items over 100 lbs.
- Ability to work at various heights as required
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or maintain balance
- Capable of working in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, confined spaces, etc.)
