• Excellent at communicating with students, parents, and colleagues

• Enthusiastic and positive!

English and History tutors must:

• Have a 4 year college degree
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Tutor in person during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the 2026/27 academic year

Our goal is to provide a great tutoring experience for our students and their families, and we work hard to maintain our strong reputation in the Bay Area communities we serve. Many of our tutors have a background in education. However, successful candidates may instead have experience in coaching, youth leadership, camp counseling, mentoring, or the performing arts.
