Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented a Janitor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at our facility. This position involves a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment. The Part-Time Janitor will also serve as a backup for the full-time janitorial staff at both sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Mop floors to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
- Clean windows to ensure streak-free and spotless glass.
- Perform carpet cleaning to remove dirt and maintain hygiene.
- Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to remove dirt and allergens.
- Clean air diffusers and returns to maintain proper air quality.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs to remove debris and dirt.
- Sweep floors to ensure cleanliness and prevent buildup of dust.
- Sanitize phone headsets to promote hygiene and prevent contamination.
- Spot clean walls and partitions to remove marks and maintain a professional appearance.
- Assist in covering janitorial duties for the full-time staff at both sites when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within the assigned hours.
- Ability to pass a government background check.
- Flexibility to fill in for full-time janitorial staff as needed.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
