Infrastructure and services support developers in creating next-generation applications. Responsibilities include designing and developing core compute interfaces, virtualization management, APIs, and platform services. The goal is to enable seamless workload deployment and scaling across diverse architecture environments worldwide.

In this role, you'll work on core compute platform infrastructure and APIs powering instance orchestration across the Akamai Connected Cloud. You'll work closely with QEMU, Linux systems, and hardware teams to drive our native ARM and x86 compute. Our work environment nurtures rapid development cycles, open communication, and innovative engineering solutions to build high-density compute systems.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $146,400 - $263,600/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
