Akerman is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Office Services Coordinator for its Los Angeles office. This position supports daily office operations and provides responsive service to attorneys, staff, clients, and visitors. This is an onsite position, which will require you to work in the office five (5) days a week, Monday – Friday. Hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., with occasional overtime.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conference rooms for depositions and meetings, including arranging coffee, tea, bottled water, and other requested items.
- Coordinate lunch orders, pickup, and setup for meetings and office events.
- Handle office service requests, including mailing and FedEx shipments, print jobs, and binder preparation.
- Monitor and replenish office and kitchen supplies.
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Add visitors to the building security list and assist with their arrival.
- Enter vendor invoices into Emburse.
- Provide general administrative and facilities support as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to comfortably lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop rapport with employees, clients, vendors, and visitors while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work product.
- Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
This is a temporary full-time position. Salary range is: $24/hr - $26/hr. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
