Description: This position is for Automation Engineers with experience in application development lifecycle automation to join an expanding DevOps Team . The DevOps service supports application teams in a highly integrated, complex environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interfaces with the application development teams to assist them in determining the most efficient and value-added method of automating their application Lifecycle development activities that move their applications through the process to production implementation.
- Works with the application teams, technology partners, and all relevant teams to on-board the application team and their applications into the DevOps-Automation Service.
- Lead the onboard efforts and matrix teams of automation engineers.
- May assume duties and roles related to Software Configuration Management and/or Development. Works with version control systems, automated build systems, regression test systems along with many other lifecycle tools.
- Develops, architects, integrates and supports the integrated system and components.
- Once on-boarding is completed, maintains a partnership/working relationship with the application teams and partners to proactively modify and add workflows as appropriate to continue maximizing the value of the service to the application teams and the business clients they support.
- Proactively researches, tests and implements additional tools of value to the Automation Framework in support of the application teams and the DevOps-Systems team.
- Leads efforts in process reengineering.
