Approachable and respectful of work colleagues Your main accountabilities will be to: Operate grading, storage and cleaning machinery efficiently and safely.
Efficiently operate mechanical handling equipment to the required standards Support achievement of the required product throughput to meet production plans Carry out all duties in line with food legislation, BRC and customer food safety requirements Raise machinery or mechanical handling equipment inefficiencies and faults with the relevant Managers or department.
Maintain all machinery to a level commensurate with their role.
Assist with providing materials for product changeovers to the required standards and timescales.
Maintain area to the correct hygiene standards at all times Accurate completion of all documentation required to ensure product is traceable and quality standards have been maintained.
Take part as required in Daily reviews at performance boards and ownership of efficiency issues.
Identification of sub-standard stock is met at all times.
Ensure that all required stock is available for the production team at the correct quantity at the correct time.
Hours: 2 week rotating shift pattern; Week 1 7am to 7pm Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, week 2 7pm to 7am Sunday to Wednesday or Monday to Thursday. £13.65 per hour plus 50p per hour when working nights.
