Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Delivery Assistant to support the daily operations of the warehouse, stores, and delivery functions. The role involves assisting with loading and unloading goods, handling doors and related materials, supporting stock organisation, and ensuring smooth operational flow between warehouse, stores, and customer sites.

The ideal candidate will be operationally minded, physically capable, and willing to support various warehouse and logistics activities whilst maintaining safety, organisation, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Delivery Operations

• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Transport, move, and handle doors and related materials carefully to avoid damage.
• Sort, organise, and prepare products according to warehouse and delivery schedules.
• Support warehouse/store personnel with stock handling and operational activities.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly, safely, and in an organised manner.
• Assist delivery drivers and operational teams with daily logistics tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within warehouse and storage areas.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items promptly to supervisors.

Stock Handling & Documentation

• Check delivered goods against invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders, and GRNs.
• Support stock organisation and inventory handling processes.
• Assist with warehouse housekeeping and material organisation.
• Ensure operational documentation is completed accurately when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, palletisers, or similar tools is considered an asset.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations, stock handling, and logistics processes.
• Ability to complete operational paperwork accurately, including delivery and stock documentation.
• Experience handling construction materials, doors, or similar products is considered advantageous.
