Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for accuracy and condition, and record receipt in the inventory management system.
• Ensure all received products are properly labeled, documented, and stored in the designated areas.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments.

Shipping:

• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of products.
• Schedule and coordinate transportation carriers to meet delivery deadlines.
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report any discrepancies.
• Assist in the organization and optimization of warehouse space.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to reorder inventory as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
• Prepare reports on shipping and receiving performance and inventory levels.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements related to shipping and receiving.

Communication:

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with various departments, including purchasing, sales, and production, to ensure efficient operations.
• Handle inquiries and provide assistance to internal and external stakeholders regarding shipping and receiving matters.
• Participate in meetings to report daily shipping activities and plan daily tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven experience in shipping and receiving coordination or a related field.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.Knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
