Laboratory Technician

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician  to join our team in Liverpool, UK. 

You will be responsible for carrying out analytical methods and standard operating practices without supervision to a high degree of precision and accuracy, ensuring that the effective and high-quality analytical service is provided to meet reporting deadlines on the various types of samples/commodities submitted to the laboratory for analytical evaluation.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

Required Competencies

• Be flexible in terms of the ability to operate and contribute in a changing environment. 
• Have good attention to detail.
• A team player, working alongside others with positivity and respect.
• High level of interpersonal skills. 
• Have the ability to work with minimum supervision and be able to use your own initiative. 
• Keen interest in Chemistry and/or other scientific principles. 
• Solid numeracy and IT skills. 

Required Work Experience

• Prior professional laboratory experience is desired but not required. 

Required Qualifications

• Higher in Maths or English and 2 science subjects.
